Highlights

  • House rent will be turned on for version 1.108
  • The damage from siege weapons and all siege ammunition has been increased. The hit points of keep pieces have also been increased; players will see the greatest difference in damage on enemy players.
  • The Braemar Battleground has been updated with new repeatable quests that will award generous amounts of Experience and Aurulite. Level appropriate Aurulite merchants have been added as well.
  • The Realm Ability System has received a large overhaul to expand the purchasable ranks out for almost all abilities, giving players an increased level of customization when spending their realm ability points. Many of the Class Realm Rank 5 abilities have also been reworked or replaced entirely.


World Changes

  • House rent will be turned on for version 1.108.
  • New Loading screens have been added, players will see these when they first log in.
  • Catacomb class trainers are now available outside the Hall of Heroes in Ruins of Atlantis.


Realm vs. Realm

General Changes

  • Siege weapon damage has been increased.
  • Keep wall hit points have been increased to scale with increased siege damage.


Battlegrounds Changes

  • A series of repeatable Monster, and Player kill tasks have been added to the following Battlegrounds: These quests will grant generous amounts of experience and Aurulite as rewards.
  • Braemar: Captain Maynard, Albion Commander, Midgard: Captain Gherimi, Midgard Commander , Hibernia: Captain Rebma, Hibernia Commander.
  • Level appropriate Aurulite merchants have been added to the following Battlegrounds:
  • Braemar: Baeryna , Midgard: Miemda, Hibernia: Nithraz.


Items Changes

  • Rewards given to players by completing the Epic 1 through 8 quests have been re-itemized.  Players will now find the items at a higher quality with additional bonuses added.
  • Items dropped by the named mobs of each battleground have been re-itemized.  Players will now find higher quality items with additional bonuses dropping from these monsters.


Encounters Changes

  • The ML 1.7 encounter “Not My Circle” has been redesigned to be easier and less time consuming to obtain credit. The encounter is now on a respawn timer averaging 10 minutes and no longer requires players to stand on the pads to activate. Adjusted the Master Level 8.10 Encounter causing Agne and his army to act more like a group during each wave.
  • The fog in Darkness Falls has been reduced, allowing players to see more clearly.


Quest Bug Fixes

  • Corrected the problem where King Eirik would not reward the Belt of Good Fortune to players who meet the requirement upon completion of Conspiracy: Finding the Keeper quest in Midgard.
  • Corrected a bug where quests would award the incorrect number of kills to the player. Many quests have been adjusted to reflect this fix.


Class Balance

Archetype

  • Remedy has been removed as the Realm Rank 5 Ability for all assassin classes, and will instead be granted to all Assassins once they reach level 50.


Animist

Balance Changes

  • Fungal Union – The chance for the Animist to not expend power when casting a spell under this effect has been increased to 50%.

Bard

Balance Changes

  • Dreamweaver – The armor and weapons shown on the Bard while this effect is active have been updated to Dragonslayer Armor and Weapons.


Berserker

Balance Changes

  • Ferocious Will – While this effect is active, the Berserker will also have a 25% bonus to all resistances and a 25% chance to shrug off crowd control spells.


Blademaster

Balance Changes

  • Blade Barrier – While this effect is active, the Blademaster will receive 25% less damage from all attacks.


Druid

Balance Changes

  • Nature’s Womb – This effect will now silence the Druid for the duration of the spell instead of stunning them.


Enchanter

Balance Changes

  • Searing Pet has been removed as the Enchanter Realm Rank 5 ability.
  • A new ability, Frenzy of the Underhill, has been added as the Realm Rank 5 ability. This ability, when activated, will increase the pet’s melee attack speed and casting speed by 100% for 30 seconds, and can be used every 5 minutes.


Healer

Balance Changes

  • Sputin’s Legacy – This ability will now heal the Healer for, at minimum, 30% of their total health.


Hero

Balance Changes

  • Combat Awareness – This ability will no longer reduce the Hero’s attack power by 50%.


Hunter

Balance Changes

  • Entwining Snakes – This ability will now additionally grant the Hunter a 60% unbreakable speed increase for 15 seconds when used.


Infiltrator

Balance Changes

  • A new Realm Rank 5 ability has been added to the Infiltrator class. This ability, called Overwhelm, will give the Infiltrator a 10% increased chance to bypass their target’s block, parry, and evade defenses for 30 seconds, and can be used every 5 minutes.


Mentalist

Balance Changes

  • Selective Blindness – This ability is now instant-cast.


Mercenary

Balance Changes

  • Blinding Dust – This ability will also apply a 50% nearsight to all affected targets for 15 seconds.


Minstrel

Balance Changes

  • Calming Notes – This ability will now affect all enemy realm targets, including players, pets, and guards, but will now only last 20 seconds.


Necromancer

Balance Changes

  • Call of Darkness – This ability should now be completely uninterruptible, and the Necromancer should be immune to Stun and Mesmerize effects while casting this spell.


Nightshade

Balance Changes

  • A new Realm Rank 5 ability has been added to the Nightshade class. This ability, called Shadow Shroud, will reduce all incoming damage by 25% and increase the Nightshade’s chance to be missed by 25% for 30 seconds, and can be used every 10 minutes.


Ranger

Balance Changes

  • Desperate Bowman – This ability will now additionally grant the Ranger a 60% unbreakable speed increase for 15 seconds when used.


Savage

Balance Changes

  • Blissful Ignorance has been removed as the Savage’s Realm Rank 5 ability, and has been moved to the Savagery specialization line at 35 specialization points.
  • A new Realm Rank 5 ability has been added to the Savage class. This ability, called Frenzied Assault, will increase the chance for the Savage to obtain multiple hits by 10% - this will apply to the chance for double, triple, and quadruple hits.


Scout

Balance Changes

  • Shield Trip – This ability will now do 300 damage to its target as well as rooting it. Additionally, this ability will now grant the Scout a 60% unbreakable speed increase for 15 seconds when used.


Shadowblade

Balance Changes

  • A new Realm Rank 5 ability has been added to the Shadowblade class. This ability, called Blooddrinking, will cause the Shadowblade to be healed for 25% of all damage he does for 30 seconds, and can be used every 5 minutes.


Skald

Balance Changes

  • Epiphany – This ability will now also heal 50% of the Skald’s group’s endurance.


Spiritmaster

Balance Changes

  • Spirit Martyr – This ability will no longer stun or sacrifice the pet when used.


Valewalker

Balance Changes

  • Vale Defense – The ablative on this spell has been increased to 1000.


Valkyrie

  • Valhalla’s Blessing – The chance for group members to not expend power or endurance while this spell is active has been increased to 75%.


Warlock

Balance Changes

  • Boiling Cauldron – The spillover time on the summoned cauldron has been lowered to 3.5 seconds and the damage has been increased to 650.


Wizard

Balance Changes

  • Wall of Flame – The Wizard will now additionally receive a 200 value, 100% value ablative that will absorb melee and magic damage. This ablative will pulse every 3 seconds for the duration of the Wall of Flame, and last 10 seconds each pulse.

  • Dashing Defense - The tank can block and parry for all groupmates within a 1000 radius for the duration listed. Each attack only has the chance of being blocked/parried once, regardless of how many characters in a group have Dashing Defense active at one time:

  • Vanish - Provides the stealther with super stealth, which can not be broken. Also will purge DoTs and Bleeds and provides immunity to crowd control. This ability lasts for 3 to 6 seconds depending on level of Vanish. The stealther also receives an increase in movement speed as listed. A stealther can not attack for 30 seconds after using this ability:
    • Rank 1: Normal Speed, 3 second immunity
    • Rank 2: Speed 1, 3 second immunity
    • Rank 3: Speed 3, 4 second immunity
    • Rank 4: Speed 4, 5 second immunity

  • Vehement Renewal - Instantly heals all group members (Including the user?) within 2000 range for the amount listed:

  • Viper - Increases the damage of poisons by the listed amount:

  • Volcanic Pillar - Heat based AE damage spell with 500 radius. Damage as listed:
