I am using an ATi Radeon 9500, 9600, 9700 or 9800 series video card with the latest drivers and my PC reboots whenever I get to the character selection screen
Due to some changes that ATi has made in their drivers, the latest version no longer works correctly with these cards and Dark Age of Camelot.  You will need to use an older driver. To obtain one you can go through the steps to get the current driver and at the bottom of the driver page, you will see a link for Previous Drivers and Software. Download and install the oldest driver version that they have listed (7.7 or 7.4 are ideal if still listed) and install those.  Once the older drivers are installed, you should be able to run the game correctly.
