I recently installed Windows XP and everything in Dark Age of Camelot appears to be blurry and or distorted. What could be the problem?
First make sure you have the latest video card and monitor drivers. If all drivers seem to be up to date, please perform the following:
- First, right click the Windows desktop and click on properties.
- Next, click on the appearance tab and proceed to click on the effects tab.
- Under the setting "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts" section, please make sure it is set to standard and NOT cleartype.
Cleartype is there only to make text and graphics more visible on a laptop system.
- Please also uncheck "Show shadows under menus".
